This aaaaaaaaaaaaalmost works. Cute idea. I think the fact that the dude is bent over playing with his own feet and the fact that we don't see enough of the legs makes it not QUITE work.

Very flat. Zero depth. Almost looks like he's laying in the sand.
Subject matter isn't interesting, To me anyway.
Colors look dull.
Image looks a tad underexposed.
Legs in the top look like a mistake.
Angle is awkward.

Nothing really good can be said about this..

I think what makes this shot is (presumably) what the guy thinks: "I am leaving the beach... or maybe not!" He is torn a bit between his shoes and a pair of woman's legs. Kind of , he he, "decisive moment" And btw why do we need to see more of her legs? It will not tell us anything that we do not already know about this story...
