Lens advice

Im sure this topic has been posted before but I cant find the exact answer im seeking.

I have a Nikon D7100 and im looking for a longer range lens to be able to capture wildlife pictures without disturbing them. I have been recommended before the Tameron 150-600 lens that runs about 1K. that's about my price range at this time.....My question is what is the best lens out there around this price range that really performs. Im not up on the other brands offering a similar lens for the money that may have a better reputation and quality....

It's either the Tamron or the Sigma 150-600mm. Or the Sigma 150-500mm as well, which is less expensive. Other less expensive options are the 70-300mm lenses (Nikon, Tamron, Sigma etc.).

I have the 300mm already...its a good lens but I cant each out to the distance I want with out losing sharpness....I have hear about both the sigma and tameron I just don't want to drop 1K down on a lens that ends up being a turd...lol
