i was just thinking about making a thread like this. i also have an xsi and was thinking that all the lenses i would want would be-

all around lens- the kit 18-55 is good enough for me
-some macro lens with a lighting setup maybe
-some mid distance zoom telephoto-maybe a 55-250

I'd have Canon custom make it. It would be 77mm at the filter mount and about the size of a 24-70 and the weight of a 50mm f/1.8.

They did make the 1200mm prime to order after all.
