Lens critique needed please

Just got my E-M5, and the only lens I had to try it is an old Minolta MD 50mm F1.4.
I thought it looked pretty good. This was shot at F2.8, with IS on and focal length set to 50mm. I had the camera at Aperature Priority so that that it would calculate exposure based on the manually set F stop.
How does this lens performance look to you guys.

Hard to really tell with this shot, as it looks like you missed focus.

If you print out a lens sharpness chart we should be able to tell.

However reading about the lens, it seems pretty good.

I'd take it outside and test it in the shade. The tungsten lighting kind of ruins this shot for me, so I would give it a thumbs down. Also, I would personally recommend learning to shoot in Manual mode.

alright, went to the park up the street and snapped a few. I figured out how to zoom the viewfinder for focusing. That seems to help alot. Here are a couple pics and some 100% crops, there was no PP done on these, straight out of the camera as jpg.
This camera/lens seems sharper than most I have had before. I have a couple kit lenses on the way a Oly 14-42 and a 40-150, will be interesting to see how those are compared to this 40 year old lens.
