Lens strap alternative

I don't always have pockets and don't like how lens straps hang down plus I have a short lens so I found a really quick and easy way to keep it out of the way and secured. Piece of industrial strength Velcro hook and loop, if you get the good stuff it will stay on the outside of the lens cap and the other on the lower part of the camera strap and WhamO.

I just mean the lens cover. I like my strap. That looks pretty cool though but with a loaded backpack Im afraid I have to keep it pretty much in the front. In dust and snow I find the lens cap needs to be on and off a lot.

I apologize, my bl;ack rapid strap suggestion was out of scope for your thread, I deleted it. Thats nice how you set that up!
