If I am taking pictures of bees on flowers at close range or just flowers at close range what sort of lens would I need if I want shallow dof. I have a zoom lens which is fine for shallow dof for portraits if I zoom in but when close to subjects it seems that the f number is not low enough to get a shallow dof when shooting close to subjects.
