What's new

let me know what you think.

The first is nice, but i wish you had upped the shutter speed a little, as the background is blown and highly distracting.

thanks for the input. :)
i actually edited it to look that way. if you can imagine the picture without the highlights blown out that exactly what youll get with the original picture.
i liked the feel i got from this more as opposed to not blown out.

Nice work!

hi, your pictures are great. I like the first picture of you wife. Would you mind to let me know your set up, pls?

That car shot in Post #7 is probably one of the more interesting vehicle shots I have seen in a long time. The star trail shots look great too. Actually, the only one you posted that I don't care for is the pic of your wife in Post #7. The low contrast and greenish tint just throw it off for me.

Other than that, some fantastic work. Hope you get a chance to contribute more often.

thank you!!!
i know what you mean. i wanted to try something a little different so in a few from that day of editing i took down the contrast alot. im glad you like some of them :)

ok np. 5dmk with my 24-70mm at 45mm f/2.8
the iso was set to 200. shutter speed was 800 and that was to get the sunset which in the edited version you dont really see.
and i used my 580exII handheld with ttl cord camera left to light up her face. i believe i had the power maybe 2 steps under 1/1.
for the edited picture i used an "apply image" at the end which is the reason the highlights are blown out but i liked the effect it had.

i hope that helps, im not very good at explaining i think lol

this one i finished editing earlier today. do you guys think its a bad thing when you never edit everything the same from the same set. it seems i always want to try a new edit anytime i open a new picture? what are your inputs on that?

oh does it. ahhhhhhh!!!! i have to use my lcd tv to edit for a while cause my computer monitor is broken and the color profiles are giving me the biggest headache. on screen it shows a warmer tone. thank you for that though.
