Ok here are a few more from today. Hopefully these will be better than the last few.

#2 is the only one that has real interest to me, but I think it might look better in b&w

to me #1 is out of focus. If you have a DSLR with Live View mode, you should be able to digitally zoom in and manipulate the focus to get the best results if you are having trouble. #2, maybe a closer look would have been better, not too close as to not know that they are leafs, but closer to have a more definition on the lines intersecting with each other. I personally like #3, but maybe you could play around with the composition a bit. What camera are you using?

I'm using a Nikon Coolpix L120. Haven't upgraded to a dslr yet. Was trying to make sure I was going to like photography first. My next outing I will work on focus. That seems to be my biggest issue at this point. Thanks for the c&c.
 
Maybe try a larger f stop to get a greater depth of field.....
