Life on the Edge

Historic part of st. john's located on the very edge of a cliff entering st. john's harbor. Fishing was the main priority back then and this is the way most of the out ports were.

Wow... that's really an amazing collection of houses on the hillside. What a different life than most of us live now! The houses are also pretty interesting for their varied colors -- it looks like people go out of the way to make them distinctive.
