good little article, i made a couple notes and literally walked out the door to take some photos. I knew there was an overpass that didn't have on ramps or exits ramps and figured that would be my best bet. I took several shots, playing with different settings but most of what looked best is exactly from that site. good luck and keep posting your results. I wish I lived in a city where I could take downtown night photos.

The OP's light trails are perpendicular to the lens axis. The others are closer to the lens axis making them much more noticeable.

The only problem the OP had was the angle. The camera should have been pointing closer to the same angle as the street.
