Lighting is coming!!!

So on the quest of making a modest living So to stay home with my guys.

My lighting, backdrop stand, black background are all scheduled to show up between the 24-27th!!!

I can not WAIT!!!

I have been shooting with alternative lighting and getting okay results but man I can't wait.

What lighting are you using and like???

P.s I live in Seattle not a lot of Natural available this time of year LOL

All light is natural light. We learn in physics class it's all made of the same stuff - Photons - whether the photons are made by nuclear fusion in the Sun, by heating a Xenon flash tube, incandescent lightbulb filament, or a flourescent tube.

It's more correctly called available light, but calling it natural light sounds healthy and has more marketing oomph.

What alternative lighting have you been using?

With strobed lighting we can use the duration of the strobed light to stop motion, freeing up shutter speed to be used for controlling the ambient light exposure while using the lens aperture to control the strobed light exposure.

I've evolved to a minimalist, light-weight, very portable, Strobist approach, but it takes a fair amount of grip.
