Lighting up a Room with Just a Flashlight

I tried to take a picture of a completely dark room, lighting it up with just a pocket flashlight. The technique basically consists of taking several pictures and then adding them up.

Cool concept but I'd perhaps use 1 image with a long exposure and try "painting the walls" or something to perhaps get a more interesting image.

That is a long, excruciating way to take a picture that looks like a cheap on camera flash.

i don't see the point. I could also take a picture of a dog by taking several smaller pictures of a dog and then adding them up... but it's easier just to put it all in one frame. Only difference is, the dog photos might actually be interesting, while this:
