Really cool capture, great exposure, but the framing of the buildings seems awkward to me. Maybe crop the top a bit more to make a wider frame.

I agree the composition leaves me wanting but I always enjoy looking at lightning photographs.

This is an amazing shot, It makes me want to do the same with nyc. I agree with the crop as others have already mentioned. I think it would strengthen the image greatly. You could also try a vertical crop, starting at the left of the frame and finishing between the fourth and fifth building on the back row. However I don't want to ignore the fact that this is an extremely well captured and exposed shot. It has many interesting elements to explore.

The buildings on both sides seem to be leaning towards the center. I think the lens distortion in this case should be corrected, otherwise it becomes distracting.

I think it's just perspective as lens correction was applied in Lightroom
