I took these last summer. I shot them with a rebel xs, and used a 35-80 f/4-5.6 III.

Thanks. That was a really lucky shot actually. It was only a one second exposure and it caught the beginning of the bolt....at least that's how I interpreted it. I'm not a scientist. lol.
