Thank you for everyone's input. I wasn't really going for anything when I took this shot. I just wanted it to seem unreal in terms of weightlessness/gravity. I did it in the tub because we all know water is sexy. I did desaturate the image using a black and white layer set to a certain opacity. I'll have to change it so she doesn't look so dead and, well, manly.

As for how I shot the image. I used a tripod and took a picture of the background and then another with the model. The hardest thing about this was that the background shot, I didn't turn on the water. So when I brushed away the stool there was no water falling. Also, I'm using a Vivitar flash made in the 70's so every shot is going to be lit differently. When I was brushing away the stool, the background image was a lot darker so I had to burn/dodge the tub bellow her torso. I'm actually surprised no one pointed that out. She is also a bit off center.

Again, thank you for everyone's comments. I'm proud of this shot nonetheless.

I love the concept but I don't think its quite there yet. The bottles and crap in the bathtub detract for me, as well as like someone else posted, it just being a prefab tub. I'd love to see similar in a stand alone tub, (a nice hotel or bed n breakfast would be your best bet) and a change of clothing, more leg so you can see the muscles and something tighter to her body so you can really appreciate the manipulation of her body.

I like the concept it's a good start. You just need to refine the composition and you'd have a better photo that might earn the "love it" IMO.
