I think these are one of my best since I've had my camera. Please let me know what you think .I took the picture with my Canon Rebel t3 and it was on full auto. Thanks

#1 is underexposed and cool but I love the expression!
The other two suffer wb issues and harsh flash. If you're trying to create great pictures, you're going to have to take it off of auto and play around with some of the manual settings. Try Av and see what you think

Thanks, I was trying to play it safe . 2 and 3 theres was a big glass door and the sun shining through and the flash was on , i should have shot the picture with the sun behind me instead of her i think that would had helped the shot. She is too adorable ,it was fun taking these she was constantly making cute faces . i will try Av .

With 2 and 3, her eyes look like someone took a sharpie and just colored a dot. I think you would have been better off turing her to face the light source (the door behind her) and turning off the flash. I do really like her expression in the first one though, cute.

Thanks. I agree . I will have that in mind . I didn't think about that at the time because I was thinking on composition and only trying to capture without to many distractions around . When I looked at the pictures as I took them all I was looking was at how sharp they were or if there were blurry . Too many things to think about when your taking pictures . Hopefully I'll get better with time . Thanks num 1 is my favorite .

The light source from behind is not a problem since it can provide a nice rim light and blown out "clean" background. Also facing people towards bright light makes them squint. The trick is to reflect some light (soft light) back on your subject and expose (manually) properly for her. Auto (and Av) will never let you do this because it will try to bring everything in the frame down due to the overly bright background. When you shoot manually, YOU get to decide what the proper exposure for SUBJECT is. Good luck and keep shooting
