Lime Rock Park Memorial Day

So this was my first go at photographing a race. The weather was perfect and the track was beautiful. Theres nothing quite like the feel of a day at a race track. Lime Rock is nice because the public has access to the paddocks , so you are able to get up close to the action. Anyway, heres a few that came out alright. I took over 100 photos, I kept maybe 15...thank god for digital.

Good panning shot in 2!
Usually I don't spend too much time with car photos of any kind, but good panning shots interest me, no matter what it is you tried to show with movement.

Other pics here nicely show a bit of atmosphere of a race ground, which I also like.

Was the weather this nice all over the country for Memorial Day, I wonder?
