Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
A group of 15 to 20 of these little birds show up in the tree's around my home every few days or so, I have no idea what they are other than annoying to the hummingbirds. First question: Does anyone know what they are? Second question, What would be the best way to corp this photo, if at all?

Be well,

Anthony

I want to say American Goldfinch but I'd like to see the head better

Hi Anthony, they are Goldfinches, we have a flock here that when they all get together in late fall 50+ of these guys mixed with purple finches and sparrows descend on the feeders and empty them in short order.
I'm not sure this shot is worth a crop, birdy butts while cute don't make a great subject, I would however keep shooting them in this spot, it has potential!

A couple more shots,

Ah there are their faces! Those two are nice :)

They look like Sparrows to me. I would crop off all the dead space from the bottom, something like this. Now that you posted a better view of them they do look like gold finch.

They group together in these trees while feeding. I've been trying to capture a shot of a group (this was the best so far), but it seems it will be hard getting them all facing the same direction, there's always one or two mooning the camera.

Being at the end of the drive I don't have far to go, whenever I notice them around I go out with the camera.

Keep at it! I don't even have to leave the house to shoot these guys, the south side of the house is all glass and I am STILL on a quest for a good group shot ;)
