I thought lightening up the image but kept it as is because I like that it's brooding, ominous, what could be an innocent book store turns out to be something sinister.

But that's my imagination running.

The dark area in the middle draws your eyes to it but nothings there. Maybe lighten that up a little so you're eye is drawn elsewhere. Like the bench? But I do like it.
