London Bridge (Aus) HDR

A HDR I did of London Bridge in Vic, Australia today

While I am convinced it was great fun testing this technique on this very photo, I also think that actually there was no real NEED for HDR for this photo, this scene, and this time of the day (?).

The horizon line totally throws me off this photo, though, cutting through the frame in the absolute middle, dividing it into two equal halves.

But you got so much room around your primary subject to the right and the left, you can easily crop this and give the horizon a place where the entire photo will gain some more "tension".

Have cropped the pic a bit now The lighting on this is completely different to how it looked at the time -the hdr made it alot better I think.

Can someone explain HDR? I'm completly new to the forum and photography and already I'v come across HDR in the last two threads I'v looked at
By the way that picture looks amazing!
