lone tree

I manipulated this shot in photoshop to get this look .. I hope you like it ...
I know its not perfect but it's as good as I got it...
any help on how to improve it would be welcome

It's a good shot and I can see what you are trying to achieve but I think maybe you have gone too far on the tree itself. The light sky in between those branches and leaves look a little odd.....The ground and sky aren't too bad but the tree is a little too dark. If you decide to have another go use layer masks which will stop further processing harming the tree.
