If you want the eyes to be the center of attention, I wonder if a shorter DOF would help & keep the snout a bit out of focus.

I dont like the way the nose is chopped off, i reakon you should crop it more so the eyes are the main focus

Tell me about it. I've got so many pictures of my dog its crazy. even trying some crazy lightings he just sits there.
is that a border collie. i have an australian shepherd. they look very similar its those eyes that get you as the title says

and i agree with Eventer i wish the nose wasnt cut off.
