Lonely Road

A shot I took last night venturing around town and I like how it turned out. CC always welcome.

Overall I really like the shot, looks like it might be tilted just a smidegon to the left, but hard to tell if it would look better with a little right rotation or not without actually straightening it and seeing what that looks like from a compositional point of view.

I appreciate the input! The thing that kind of made the editing hard for me, is that the road itself at that part is quite severely angled to the left (as far as residential roads go) so I wanted tot ry to keep that in it, but now that I look at it, I think you may be right.

Yup.. kind of hard to tell if rotating it will improve it or not really from a compositional standpoint, without being able to look at it both ways side by side. But all in all I really like the composition and the photo itself.

Personally, I like how in the original one, the streetlight post is straighter.

The original works better imho as it helps ever so slightly to lead the eyes into darkness.

Though I wish you had a deeper dof, wouldvr been nice to have more sharpness in the tree

I prefer the original as well. For me it's the hump/hill on the right side of the image that throws things off. Just seems out of balance a little bit..like your eye really wants to follow the road but the bare hill competes for your visual attention.

Overall I really like the image and the mood you have captured.
