well, i think it's a long-billed dowitcher, anyway! i'm lousy at identifying these shore birds that all seem to look alike! there were perhaps a dozen or so of these in attendance, though not all in the same area at the same time...

Very nice! ..and yep, Long-billed Dowicher it is fer sure(maybe, sorta)! Cool bird (literally so in the Summer). They breed up on the shores of the Bering Sea and the Arctic Ocean, and Winter on the shorelines of So Calif, Mexico, and the gulf of Mexico. We get them down here, but they are dull colored. These you got are getting their dating garb.
