as you can see... i ordered the lenses yesterday at 12:49 ish... on ebay.

i noticed the polarizer has a ajustable dial?? why, whats that for?

There's another way to go. The results are somewhat different and perhaps worth exploring.

The camera must be mounted so that its position is rock-solid. This usually translates to clamping it in some way to an immoveable support.

Then, using low ISO film or setting, make multiple exposures at the smallest stop and highest shutter speed.

This technique can, of course, be combined with filters.

The exposures can include those taken in daylight and those taken at dusk or night in the same 'frame'.

is it possible to do long exposure shots during the day! or do i need some sort of filter.... because when i try, i just get a complete whiteout!! no matter what the settings are

You can probably get a long exposure, enough to blur the water, without any filters. Just stop down all the way, lowest ISO. But with filters it's easier to get longer exposures.

Here's my contribution.

Use the self timer, on a tripod, so the camera is standing still, untouched. Unless of course you have some sort of remote or cable release. Main goal, is have no button to push, so the camera is rock solid.
