Long Snout Weevil

Not sure of the id but presented interesting behavior much like a possum. I saw it ambling along towards my front door through a window. When I opened the door with the insect still three feet away it immediately fell over on it's side and played dead. Never seen that behavior before in an insect.

How large is this creature? I cannot tell if it is Tiny or if it is somewhat substantial in size.

Derrel a bit less than 1.5 cm.
