Tiny tomatoes (sweet 100), garlic, chili pepper dill & brine (water, vinegar, salt). They are a taste treat.

I am salivating :drool:Seriously. I need to go find something to eat NOW.

I like the mat underneath the jar, really leads your eye to the subject. There's glare/reflection on the glass though...

Quite right. I took this quick pik for a gardening forum I am on where they are not particular about the pictures. If I were to redo it, I would consider using a CPL & see if that makes the required difference.

did you pick those tom's green? because my little girl is obsessed with picking my sweet 100's before they are ripe. dont know what to do with all those tiny green tom's.

and oh, great shot! I always enjoy your subjects : )

Yes, they are pickled green. If you do a Google search for 'tomolives" you will find recipes. I have been making these for over 30 years & have developed my own formula.

First of all, I thank all of you for your responses to my "snapshot". More than I often get for more serious attempts at photography.

What does this tell me? Folks who are into photography are also into food. Whoda thought. ;)

Ron, food for the eyes, food for the stomach. Every "pro" photographer I know loves to eat. So your skills come in really handy. And "snapshots" of good food, is like snapshots of a beautiful woman - you get a lot of foregiveness with the right subject.

Methinks you have been paying attention.
