Ive been thinkin on entering a contest or something and I'm just curious as to if its worth a shot of not. I'm open to advise or comment or whatever, just try to to be too rough, i can take some though.I realize i haven't posted on here before and all that but id really just like to hear what yo guys have to say. Hi
I especially like your bird, though his tail seems a little out of focus or maybe that are my glasses. Also the Windmill and building, the sky seems to really bring out the two subjects nicely. I would put them in just to see how you go.

My honest opinion is that they are okay. There is nothing Significant about them. My advise would be to study more about composition. One thing that I always try to do when creating a shot is look for backgrounds first. An interesting background even if blurred out can make an ordinary subject stand out. Composition is key for outstanding shots. I hope that helps.

They all look like they have focus issues to me.

#1 the DOF is to shallow
#2 nothing is really sharp
#3 nothing is really sharp
#4 looks like your focus was just behind the bird
#5 nothing is really sharp

If they are sharp on your computer then whatever you did in uploading them made them soft.

I like the flowers with the bokea in the background. One tip I would have is to read up on the rule of thirds.

Agreed. I was taking it a bit further and suggestions composition as a whole. I think the op is in need of it and could help them produce better shots.

alright, thank you. i will read up on some of what you guys mentioned and try to better myself. I appreciate it :D
