Looking for a background!

Hi everyone!

I took a photograph of this guys here. At the end it should be an invitation-card for his hair & make-up salon. We thought it would be cool if we had a fancy background, something unreal that looks great but still not distracting to much... Please help me with your ideas!

I did the background gray so far ...

what is he trying to say with the style of the salon...it looks pretty modern based on the furniture...id do something that coincides with the look and feel of the salon.

Yes, he is fancy and so is his salon. It should be modern and may be a bit crazy...something like Alice in wonderland! I just need THAT idea, hmmm ...

The original photo looks kind-of Sci-fi/spaceshipy to me. I think something like this might be a bit over the top, but hey. Who knows?

I'm not totally sure of the copy right on that photo though
