Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
So it has been a while since I bought a new computer monitor. I currently use LR and PS CC on a 24 inch monitor that I purchased about 10 years ago. Well, I went to our local computer store, and got a lesson on IPS monitors. Looking for about a 27 inch monitor with quality color display. Any recommendations? Admins, if this is not the place to post, feel free to move.

Thanks.
Ron A.

I've had good luck with NEC monitors with the Spectraview auto color calibration. Simple to adjust the monitor's color and light intensity, for accurate color representation and adjustment in post processing. I don;t print much, but this is strongly recommended for printing. I have an older model, so check out their new ones if interested.

Here's an article that is worth the time to read. I'm using an ASUS 27" monitor right now, but am planning on moving to a Benq: Best Monitors for Photo Editing (16 Top Picks for 2018)
Just as important a consideration is how you will calibrate it. I picked up a X-Rite Studio i1 and am pleased with the capabilities. It's a bit expensive, but worth it as it includes a spectrophotometer so you can calibrate printers as well as scanners and monitors.
