Looking For Ideas

We are having this bike race coming to our town in the upcoming weeks and one of the organizers was wondering if I wanted to come and take some pictures of the participants and some races and sell them while they are in town.

I'm using this as an opportunity to get better with my photography and not as a money making experience. I would like to rent some glass and hopefully make enough money to pay of my rental fee. However if I end up making some money i'm not going to hate that. If I don't make enough I'll be glad I got to use some quality glass.

My thoughts were to sell 5x7's and 8x10's also offer a cd with multiple images. This would have to be fast turnaround due to the racers coming in from overseas. So i would just take it to a local 1 hour photo shop.

Any Ideas or thoughts about doing this?

what would be a reasonable price for the photos?
