Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So since I've joined here I have learned A LOT!! and still have A LOT LOT LOT to go :)

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on some basic editing classes?? My local collages don't really have what I'm looking for I have a friend whos photo business does it but the next class isn't for 2 months and I'd rather start something sooner.

I get picnik (I know I know! I'm a noobie and learning!!) I'm def getting lightroom quite well! Its CS5 that I have that I dont get! I'm not super advanced in the comp area but nor am I an idiot and to be quite frank I get overwhelmed and frustarted trying to work in that program!

Do you guys think I should go along the ways of like an mcp basic editing class then work up those classes? or do you have any other suggestions

Thanks!!

There are several tutorials out there on the interwebs for free. I also suggest Lynda.com. Not much money and there are loads of tutorials for Photoshop CS5

Kelby's Training, Lynda.com, these are just few.

I've learned photoshop elements by following tutorials on the internet. There are so many tutorials that its not worth paying for a course IMO. Buy a couple books on photoshop and go from there

Open CS5. Click on Help > Photoshop help.

Photoshop CS5's Camera Raw and Lightroom 3 use the same edit rendering engine - ACR 6. Why do you have both?

DH got me CS5 for anniversary. A photographer friend told him to get it for me. Lightroom i had.

Since Lightroom is supposed to work with Photoshop why not have both? Lightroom for easy adjustments, cataloging, batch processing , and light editing and photoshop for heavy retouching and photo manipulation. She may not NEED both because she doesn't have a large workload but if she has the money why not?
