Looking to Replace my Lumix DMC-FX700

I do move out inspections for a property management company, so I end up taking a LOT of picture during each inspection.

We recently replaced this camera with a Samsung WB35F, but the time between shots is just far too long.

I'm hoping to spend $150-200 and still get compact size, 24mm wide angle, and quick time between shots.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To have a really fast camera, you will need a larger budget.
The Panasonic ZS40/TZ60 is faster than the W35F, but it also depends on the situation you take pictures. In lower light the camera will struggle more to get a good focus.

Any suggestions for something that will match the speed of the DMC-FX700? Honestly this camera was perfect but used ones are still going for $200-300.

Ideally I'd like to find a comparable model and then go with refurbished

Compacts are faster now, compared to 2010, when de FX700 came out.
So, the camera I mentioned, the Panasonic ZS40/TZ60, will be at least
as fast.
