Loon landing on Easter morning

Loons on an early dull dreary Easter morning. I saw a loon way out on the
lake and went outside with the 600mm and just as I got out there I saw
another loon coming in for a landing. I spun the shutter dial to ramp
up the speed which turned the shots into a basic B&W which I kind of
like given the dull day and early hour. The first shot I was still moving on but I
was glad to get the landing. All told though just playing around. I am glad I am in a location where I can still get the odd shot in during this crisis.

Still, a nice capture. I like how they extend and belly slide across the water, that's pretty cool.
