Lost Images on CompactFlash card, HELP

I have a SanDisk 16gb (60MB/s) card on my Canon 7d. After every movie clip I shot, I took a look at it on the camera screen to check on brightnes, color, and focus. Video and pictures looked great! After around 4 hours of recording small clips and taking a few pictures.... I got a message saying it couldn't read the card. I come and connect it on my pc and there is no files to view! It shows up on my computer screen as the camera is connected and when I open it, there is not one folder there! Everything is gone! All the important footage is gone! I downloaded the "SanDisk Recovery Pro" and it shows me how to do it, but there is absolutely no folders to look for my images/video
Could it be a total disaster?
P.S I inserted another card and it worked perfectly.
I used a memory card reader and still nothing

The files are still there but you will probably need a forensic tech to pull them off which would be at least a couple hundred $'s. If they are not very important/valuable I would say they are lost and be sure to toss that card so it doesn't get used again. Wish I could give you some better advice...

On track easy recovery professional!!!

Bn studio and home office I work of the external drives. One of my portable externals went on me and I didn't get a chance to backup edited number of jobs (everything unedited was nicely tucked away though). A client of mine who works in IT recommended this program and gave me a copy.
EVERYTHING that I wanted, and didn't want/need was recovered.
