put the negatives in some sun light and see if that helps getting rid of the pink cast.
fog is another issue.

how old is the film, how has it been kept?

The film should be new, it was ilford FP4. The fix should be good, I used a fix check on it. If its fogged its the strangest fogged film. I'll try some sun treatment...
 
with out seeing the film in hand it would be hard to say anything about the fog, i was just going by your statement that you thought you fogged the film.
