Low water in the Falls

It's been very dry here in New England. Very little rain for months. These falls (man made) are really low.

We have the same problem here in NE Pennsylvania. I have a little " creek " that flows under the street in front of my house and it is dry as it comes out of the culvert.

It's not a problem we have too often here in the UK, particularly up north where I am.

Here in the SE US we are working on 200% of normal rainfall for the year.

Well, this is the dry time of year. We do the engineering for various water systems here in Vermont and it is well known that September-October the springs and rivers can get dangerously low. It's this time of year that generally causes many municipalities to drill wells for a redundant water source.
