Low Water in the Mississippi

Driving back from my walk this morning I stopped at Bellerive Park and grabbed a panny of the Mississippi. The water is really low. But no tows now as they started closing the upper river locks two weeks ago for winter maintenance. Hope they get some snow up north. Fuji X-T2 w/18-55mm

Wow! A major artery that diminished. I look at the St. Lawrence and wonder...
 
Glad our harvest is over and grain sold. Prices at the river have been declining the past month. Low water means they can't load as full, to low, movement comes to a screeching halt, and elevators fill up.
