Lunch in the bush !!

I grabed this shot in the very harsh mid day sun, taken in Tsavo East national park, Kenya. I think its a Kenyan Rollier enjoying its bug lunch !!

Deano, that's a lovely shot, IMO. I love how you composed it, with the branch going corner to corner diagonally. Then to get that beautifully coloured bird while it's about to eat a bug, against a nicely blurred background, well, nice going!

We were there in feb. this year, did a 4 day safari, only a small one because we had our 2 young children with us, but it was amazing, saving like mad to go back next feb.
