Lunchtime today

I went out at lunch to my local haunt to see who was about. For the first time there, I saw a couple of kingfishers, but they flew off before I could shoot. This Green Heron was hanging out in a tree over the pond.

Boy he has his eye on you doesnt he? Yeah, green herons are hard to get close to but kingfishers even moreso.
