Great to see, no idea how to straiten. Spent a night at the grand hotel, many years ago.

I used to work on a ship up on the great lakes. we used to sail under the the mac-attack bridge and by the island all the time. seeing these really makes me miss the job (and the substantially higher pay ).

as far as C+C goes, i think the angle of the horizon and the tones give them kind of an apocalyptic feel like a scene from 28 days later or something. I think more 'flare' would require a different perspective of the bridge and maybe, depending on what you were trying to achieve, a different color tone scheme.

The hotel is great. Like going back in time. Waking up to the sound of a horse drawn carriage.

good composition will beat out tilted horizon line "flare"

I think you mean "Ferry" and not "Fairy".

I'm not a fan of the tilt either. In my opinion it doesn't add anything to the composition.
