Just some things I tried out yesterday while I was out with the reversed lens:

i don't know what a "reversed" lens is, but i like the last one, i've tried taking photos of lichen before but was never really happy with my results...

"Reversed" lens means what it says: you take off the lens of your SLR or DSLR, actually TURN IT AROUND so the part that is usually attached to the camera points towards your object and the glass that usually sticks out gets pressed against the opening, and then you have a perfect magnifier. You have to lean in on your objects and focus with your body, which makes it difficult - more so since then DOF is about 2 mm at the most! But it is fun and the results are ... well, mine are like above :D.
