Macro Shoot with Nikor 105MM plus extension tube questions

Yesterday I had a tried the lens with the extension tubes on.

The problem I had was in my display window, shows my Fstop like this "F- -".

Also with the extension tubes on, I lost the ability to do auto focus.

It is very difficult for to adjust the focus onto the subject that i want to shoot.

is there any reference webpage or link available explaining how to shoot with a macro lens with extension tube?

You must have cheap non-metering extension tubes..... get the Kenkos... they are worth it!
