"magic hour" beach shots

these were taken at about 6:20am just before the sun broke the horizon.
it was cold and the wind was gusting at 25 mph. I think they turned out pretty good.

absolutely stunning pictures, well done. the colors are wonderful. i would suggest straightening the horizon, though.

I like #2 the best.

1 through 3 have the horizon in the middle of the picture. The horizon needs to be at one of the thirds for better composition.

4 and 5 do nothing for me. Again, you need to watch the horizons in these too. The horizon needs to be level with the photo and not dipping off to one side or the other.

cnutco, you realize, that this is two years old thread, don't you? The guy probably doesn't even visit this forum anymore... His last post dates back to year 2010
