There is some perspective distortion also, I think.
With the rotation and -7 vertical , the people look upright.

As I scrolled down on this shot I seen the people and honestly thought they were statues in the courtyard.
Then It all fell into place.
It to me is a good shot and like the light and dark shades in it.
Well done.
