Mailing Matted Photos

So (Yay!) I sold two pictures that were in a show, but have to mail them from California to Ohio. The images are 11x17 in a 16x20 matte.
I havnt seen boxes this size around, anyone have any advice on where to find them (UPS store maybe?) or how to pack them so they arnt damaged?

I know this is going to sound strange, but i had some images sent to me that had been placed between two pieces of light plywood with a protective sheet of paper on each side, Taped all the way around. Hard to bend that plywood. I am sure you can go to a storage place and get a box that would work. They tend to be cheaper in cost than say UPS, or a mailing store.
