What's new

Making progress... Image heavy.

I hardly think I'm a "Pro". I thought I said that here
I know they're far from perfect, but they're far from where I started, too.
(See earlier in the thread.)

Most of these photos have already been posted for C&C. Pretty much everything I post is open for C&C. If you want to C&C them you can scroll and count them or find the thread where I asked for C&C.

I was just stating that this specific thread wasn't set up for C&C because it was basically just a compilation of some of the images throughout my shooting time.

Thanks! :)

The biggest thing was the focus. That was always one of my issues (still is). The other is the PP on it was much less because the exposure and focus were better. Self critic is def hard! That's why I like to hear from you guys. :)

Your biggest leap was to take the tough C&C you got a few threads ago, shake it off and came back shooting stronger and smarter.
"Way to go Girl" (Pats Misstwinklytoes on back).;)

I agree with everything vtf said!
And seriously, instead of giving up you went on!
That is why I love rough cc because said the right way, it does help!
Do you have facebook?

The kid on the train tracks is the best I think. My least favorite is the one with the fake lens flair:thumbdown:

If focus is a big problem or issue, then it's time to step up to a real camera, with a viewfinder that can be seen through, and with a quality autofocusing system. The low-end, pentamirror type viewfinders pretty much suck (for the most part).

Wow, Derrel. I would have guessed you to be a manual focus kind of guy, at least for portraits and such. I still feel a need to focus a lens myself, but I very seldom shoot anything that isn't nailed down.

You can definitely see major improvement. Have fun continuing the forward momentum in the next 5 months!

If I were to upgrade, derrel, and stay with canon, do you have a suggestion?

I am sure derrel wil agree with me. Buy external flash first. I was goin to suggest 5D mk 1 cause I love it.. but it doesnt even have a pop up flash (not that I would use it).

I think I'll start a new thread for that (this) topic. :)
