Maldives trip

im going to the maldives in December, just got a D40, new to all this. The lens I have is the 18/55 mm, would it be adviseable to buy another lens for big landscapes and sunsets etc as this is what most the shots will be...thanks

18-55mm is just the lens you need for many such landscapes.
