Maltese towers are magenta tinged?

The problem was that the tower was not bright enough and the instructor suggested to work on photoshop to enhance thus giving much of the pic with saturation. Remember that its not with a dslr camera. Thanks

Just increasing saturation will magnify any slight unbalance in the original color and that attracts attention to the wrong thing.
I think the detail and exposure look fine, you just need more practice in color correction and editing.

You might consider posting a link to the original full resolution image nd letting someone else walk through a color enhancement.

In PS you can adjust the saturation levels of each color, which is usually the way to go in this situation. I think it's in the Hue menu and you can select to change it from global color to individual colors.
