Yes, that is the van that hit me in the reflection.

Depending on both vehicle's damage you might want to just settle privately. Depending on your deductible you should be able to get it fixed for less than $800. Less if you get 2nd hand parts from a junkyard.

There is some metal damged under the bumper. It's just curled/scraped/and bent a little on the end. Whether this is important, I don't know.
Does the quarter panel/ fender need replaced? It needs painted for sure.

But yeah, this is gonna be more than 2 grand.

Paint is expensive but I'd call around to junkyards and see, you might get lucky. Also poke around Scion message boards and they are a pretty active modification community you can often get stock parts wicked cheap.

If I had to guess the metal bit is a bumper bracket.

It's a 2011.

I have a business, making jewelery, and it's xMasTime. Ain't nobody got time for that!
So, I take it where I took it when I got T-Boned ($2000), pay my deductable, get a rental, and everything gets taken care of.
My only "fear" or inconvenience is gonna be if it gets far enough that I have to go in for deposition.
Best case, each insurance company decides its cheaper to not litigate or whatever they do, and each pays for its own insured.

Hey, just more stress...you can handle it I wrecked my husbands new truck when I first meet him, and he even married me. My only wreck so far. My heart does go out to you...it is sad watching your car get hurt, but so glad everyone is okay.

These little fender-benders are my bread and butter! That would cost me about $350 to fix, and I'd happily take the $2k insurance check right to the camera store

Glad it was minor though. Is Ohio a no-fault state?
